The Last Apprentice series, began about 7 years ago and since then has made 8 books! This series is about a young boy named Tom Ward. He is the 7th son of a 7th son. This means that his dad was the 7th child by his parents, and that Tom was the 7th son of his father. In this book this means that he is able to interact with the dark. When he needs to take on an apprenticeship, his father has him study for the job of a spook in which you need to be a 7th son of a 7th son. In this job they interact with “dark” and the spirits of the deceased. There are many interesting things that happen in this book that gives you twisted perspective on death. This book also keeps the reader interested with bringing a new and interesting twist every new book. While reading this series you will really get to feel for Tom Ward and understand exactly how he feels. I would definitely recommend this series for everyone to read.
